  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each), skin-on

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill (optional)

  • Lemon wedges, for serving


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Prepare marinade: In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  • Coat the salmon: Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels and brush both sides with the marinade.

  • Cook:

    • Oven method: Place fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Bake for 12–15 minutes until salmon flakes easily with a fork.

    • Skillet method: Place fillets skin-side down and cook 5–6 minutes per side, until cooked through.

 

  • Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with fresh dill and serve with lemon wedges.
